It is not one operation — it is a combination, planned around what pregnancy and breastfeeding actually changed for you. Most often that is a tummy tuck with breast surgery and liposuction of the waist and flanks, sequenced in a single theatre visit so there is one anaesthetic and one recovery instead of three. Which parts you need is decided with your surgeon at consultation, and for some women the honest answer is that only one of them is worth doing.

A mommy makeover in Turkey costs considerably less than in the UK, Ireland or Germany — largely because hospital and staffing costs are lower, not because the standard of care is. The price follows the combination, not the hotel: €4,350 for Lipo 360 with a tummy tuck, €5,650 with a breast lift added, €6,500 where the lift also needs implants. All three are all-inclusive — hospital, hotel, transfers, anaesthesia, garment and a year of aftercare. Send front and side photos and you receive one written quote confirming which combination your surgeon recommends, usually within 24 hours, and it does not change once agreed.

Often, and that is the point of the plan — but not always, and we would rather say so here than after you have landed. Combining procedures means a longer time under anaesthetic, and beyond a certain point that stops being safe. Your medical history, your weight, how much needs doing and how long the operation would run all feed into it. If your surgeon thinks you are safer with the abdomen first and the breast a few months later, that is what they will tell you, and the quote is adjusted rather than the plan being forced into one trip.

Two sets, both permanent. The abdominal scar runs low from hip to hip, placed to sit below underwear. The breast scars depend on the operation: an augmentation alone can be placed in the fold beneath the breast, while a lift or reduction adds a scar around the areola and usually a vertical one beneath it. Your surgeon marks both with you standing up, before theatre, so you can see where they will sit and bring the underwear or swimwear you intend to wear. They are red and raised for the first months, then flatten and fade over a year or more.

At least six months after you finish breastfeeding, so the breast has settled to its final volume, and until your weight has been stable for six months or so. Wait as well if you plan another pregnancy — it will undo the abdominal repair, and we would rather you came later than paid twice. There is no prize for booking early, and a plan built on a body that is still changing is a plan that ages badly.

Not meaningfully, and that is not what the operation is for. Skin and a modest amount of fat are removed; the tissue weighs far less than most people expect. What changes is contour, not the scales. This is done after your weight has settled, not instead of settling it.

If they have separated, yes — and after pregnancy they very often have. The two vertical abdominal muscles are stitched back together, which is what flattens a stomach that still sticks out once the loose skin is removed, and it is the part exercise cannot fix. Your surgeon checks for it at your examination and repairs it in the same operation where it is present.

Harder than a tummy tuck alone, because two areas are healing at once. The first days are a tight, pulling feeling across the abdomen rather than a sharp pain, worse when you stand or laugh, with soreness and tightness across the chest on top of it. You walk from the first day, slightly bent forward, and straighten up over the following week. Pain relief is managed on the ward and continues at home, and you will want someone with you for the first fortnight once you are home.

This is the question most patients actually want answered, and the answer is longer than they hope: around six weeks for a toddler, and no lifting at all for the first four. Where the abdominal muscle wall has been repaired, straining it early is exactly how a good repair is undone. Plan childcare before you book, not after — it is the single thing that most often turns a straightforward recovery into a difficult one.

Desk work at around three weeks. Anything physical waits four to six weeks, and core training longer still — usually eight weeks or more where the muscle wall has been repaired. The centre page's figure of five to six weeks back to normal is the honest middle of that range for a combined operation. Your discharge notes give you the dates for your own plan.

After your surgeon has reviewed you and confirmed you are fit for the flight — that check is part of the package, not an extra. A long combined operation raises the risk of clots more than a single procedure does, so you fly with compression, you get up and walk during the flight, and you follow the instructions you are given before you leave. This is why the stay is planned at seven nights and will not be shortened to fit a cheaper ticket.

In a full JCI-accredited hospital with sterile theatres, a consultant anaesthetist and intensive-care backup on site — not a day clinic. For a four-to-six-hour combined operation that is not a marketing detail; it is the reason the operation can be offered as one visit at all. You are admitted for one to two nights afterwards and discharged by your own surgeon.

You leave with your garment, your surgical bra, your scar-care plan, medication and written aftercare for the first month, and your coordinator stays in contact for 12 months.
