Frequently asked questions

It depends on the area you want covered and, more importantly, on how much your donor area can safely give. That is measured under trichoscopic analysis — send photos of the front, top and back of your head and our doctors will give you a range before you travel.

Shedding at two to four weeks is expected. The hair falls but the follicle stays, and new growth begins at around three to six months. The final result is assessed at 12 to 18 months.

Not always. Unshaven FUE and DHI can be performed with little or no shaving, which suits patients who cannot take visible downtime. Large sessions are usually easier and denser with the donor area shaved.

That comes down to hairline design, angle and density rather than graft count. The hairline is drawn with you before the session, single grafts are used at the front, and the growth direction follows your own.

Around 3–4 nights: analysis and blood tests on arrival, the session itself, then your first wash and check at the hospital before you fly.
