Who is responsible

BHT CLINIC, Atatürk Mah. Aşina Sok. No:38/2, Küçükçekmece, İstanbul, Türkiye, is the controller of the personal data described here.

What we collect when you contact us

When you send the consultation form or start a WhatsApp conversation from this site, we receive what you type:

• your name
• your email address
• your phone or WhatsApp number
• the treatment you are asking about
• your message, if you write one
• the page you sent the form from and the language you were reading
• campaign parameters in the link you arrived on (for example utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign), so we know which advert or search brought you here

What we do not collect here

This website does not ask for and does not store medical records, photographs, diagnoses, height, weight or any other health information. If you choose to describe your situation in the free-text message, only what you write reaches us — please do not send medical documents through this form.

Clinical information is collected later, directly by the medical team, under separate arrangements explained to you at that point.

Why we use it, and on what basis

We use your details for one purpose: to answer your enquiry and prepare the written quote you asked for. That is what you consented to by sending the form.

We also keep a record of which campaign brought you, to understand which of our adverts are useful. That is our legitimate interest in running the site, and it is never used to make a decision about you.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing without asking you first.

Who sees it

Your enquiry is stored in our database and emailed to the BHT CLINIC international patient coordinator, who replies to you. Inside the organisation only the coordination and clinical teams involved in your enquiry have access.

Two processors are involved in delivering the site: our database and hosting providers. They process data on our instructions only. We do not pass your details to third-party advertisers.

Cookies and measurement

The site uses Google Tag Manager, which loads Google Analytics 4 and the Meta (Facebook) pixel. These set cookies that count visits, tell us which pages are read and whether an advert led to an enquiry.

We also keep the campaign parameters from your arrival link in your browser's session storage so that a form you fill in on a later page still shows which advert brought you. That is deleted when you close the tab.

You can block or delete these cookies in your browser at any time; the site keeps working without them.

How long we keep it

We keep your enquiry for as long as it is live and while you are considering treatment, and afterwards for as long as healthcare and accounting law requires us to. When neither applies any more, it is deleted.

You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time, and we will unless a legal obligation prevents us.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask us to stop using it, or object to how we use it. Write to info@bhtclinicturkey.com and we will answer.

If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, these are your rights under the GDPR, and you may also complain to your national data protection authority. In Türkiye, they are your rights under KVKK (Law No. 6698) and the authority is the KVKK Board.

Where your data is held

Our database is hosted in the European Union. Because BHT CLINIC is in Türkiye, staff there access your enquiry in order to answer it. That transfer happens only for the purpose you contacted us about.

Changes

If we change what we collect or what we do with it, we update this page and the date at the top. The current version is always the one published here.
